I get to spend the next 48 hours doing WHATEVER THE HELL I WANT TO WITH NARY A CARE IN THE WORLD AND WITHOUT HAVING TO KEEP MY CHILD FROM KILLING HIMSELF IN SOME MANNER.

I’m sure I’ll also miss him but…yea mostly concerned about the “nary a care” bit.

I had some guy give me a dirty look because I told him I wasn’t comfortable with his daughter petting June. He did the right thing and asked, but sometimes I’m not sure how June will react. She usually barks at all strangers and even though she’s cute, she’s highly protective. I was reluctant, but I held her head and let the little girl pet June. The dirty look wasn’t necessary when ultimately I was looking out for his daughter’s safety.

We have been really pleasantly surprised by the little tykes around us that ask before petting the pups.

Every parent should teach their child proper dog etiquette. For their own safety.

And my sanity…
